On this 52nd edition of Dissident Island Radio, which broadcast live from the London Action Resource Centre on the 5 February 2010:
We had with us a motley crew of dissidents. Two people (David Mery and Pennie Quinton) who've fought 'The Man' on 'his terms' and won respect for our rights talk to us about the recent European Court of Human Rights decision on the Stop and Search powers of British authorities and DNA retention...as well as the broader assault on our civil and human rights.
Our Northern correspondent Heavy D swung into action and grabbed us some words from SAEAB (Stop Animal Experiments at Braford) about all things animal rights in the grim north, including their upcoming days of action.
We also had words about the Stop the Traffic campaign on their plans for the UK's biggest traffic jam and how you can help out.
Live in studio we had Pete the Temp with some fantastic spoken word madness...
So check it! Live and direct every first and third Friday of the month from the social centre scene in London at 9pm GMT and available for download shortly after...
