THE ORGANIZATION, WHICH STARTED AS THE NATIONAL STUDENT COUNCIL FOR A SANE NUCLEAR POLICY GAVE IT’S 2010 DOROTHY ELDRIDGE PEACE MAKER AWARD TO FORMER TALK SHOW HOST PHIL DONAHUE, WHO AS GUEST SPEAKER SPOKE OF CO-PRODUCING THE 2007 DOCUMENTARY FILM “BODY OF WAR” ABOUT TOMAS YOUNG, A WHEEL CHAIR BOUND VETERAN, AND HIS OWN PERSONAL OPPOSITION TO WAR, WHICH EVENTUALLY COST HIS SYNDICATED SHOW TO BE CANCELLED IN 1996 AND HE WAS FIRED FROM MSNBC IN EARLY 2003.
