This episode: Special guest Dr. Henry Makow (.com) is on for the hour to discuss the wealthy people behind the big ideas behind our socialization and their attacks on male-female relationships... Why do men and women compete instead of complement each other? Why does our corporate culture sell us sex so much? Should we buy it? How can men and women find true happiness? Do everything "right" and still feel wrong? Do we have options? Can we still be individuals who find individuals who love us?
CKLN Radios Rude Awakening Morning Show is currently hosted by Black Krishna (BK) from Monday to Thursday from 6 - 7 am, as well as hosting Word of Mouth Mondays 7 - 8 pm, on CKLN 88.1 FM, Rogers Cable 947 or CKLN.fm online. FEMINISM: Dr. Henry Makow On The Problem With The People Who Give Us Our Problems

A special interview on CKLN Radio with Dr. Henry Makow, a noted critic of how the wealthy in control of corporations, governments and media used feminism to increase their tax-base, profit and control; and destroy relationships and families. The idea of equal rights and opportunities is a good one, but many means used to achieve it are obviously flawed based on the results. Most heavily-promoted social movements have been corrupted in some way, and it's better to learn how to save them than to ignore the truth and screw over yourself or the people you are trying to help.

[Ed note: It's been 3 years since 45 minute June 2007 interview was conducted... was it right?]

POWER FOR LOVE (THE HETEROSEXUAL CONTRACT) from the Book "Cruel Hoax: Feminism and the New World Order"

"The gesture of a man opening a door for a woman illustrates how men and women relate. We all know that a woman can open a door herself. But when a man does it, he is affirming her femininity, beauty and charm. When she graciously accepts, she is validating his masculine power. This trade, a woman surrendering physical power in exchange for a man's protection (i.e. love) is the essence of heterosexuality. In order to develop emotionally, men and women need this mutual validation as much as sex itself. Sex is an expression of this exclusive contract.
Under the toxic influence of feminism, women open their own doors. Neither sexual identity is validated; neither sex matures emotionally. Men feel redundant and impotent; women feel rejected and unloved."

Politically Incorrect Advice for Young Men

Henry Makow Ph.D | November 20, 2004

My life was dysfunctional until the age of 50 because I naively accepted the feminist assumptions purveyed by the mass media. I never imagined the financial elite is engaged in a war to destabilize society by trashing heterosexual roles. This hateful government attack on the traditional family continues unabated today. The purpose is to create a totalitarian New World Order where mind control replaces jackboot. Like millions of men, I was let "off the hook" by sexual liberation and feminism. Instead of becoming a husband and father, I was free to have sex and search for my "identity." Often sex and identity were confused. I didn't understand that men mature and find direction and purpose by assuming the responsibility of marriage and family. As a result, I suffered from arrested emotional development and missed my opportunity to have a family. What follows is an antidote to elite feminist propaganda. I don't want young men to fall into the same trap.

A Word From Our Sponsor

Nathan Glazer | New York Times | January 20, 2008

... A youthful Gloria Steinem had just spent a year and half in India, where, we are told, she befriended Indira Gandhi and the widow of the “revolutionary humanist” M. N. Roy, and had met a researcher who seems to have been a C.I.A. agent or contact. Attractive and progressive, Steinem was hired to run the I.S.I. and to recruit knowledgeable young Americans who could debate effectively with the Communist organizers of the festival, defending the United States against Communist criticism of segregation and other American failings.

Gloria Steinem: How the CIA Used Feminism to Destabilize Society

Henry Makow Ph.D | March 18, 2002

"In the 1960's, the elite media invented second-wave feminism as part of the elite agenda to dismantle civilization and create a New World Order." Since writing these words last week, I have discovered that before she became a feminist leader, Gloria Steinem worked for the CIA spying on Marxist students in Europe and disrupting their meetings. She became a media darling due to her CIA connections. MS Magazine, which she edited for many years was indirectly funded by the CIA. Steinem has tried to suppress this information, unearthed in the 1970's by a radical feminist group called "Red Stockings." In 1979, Steinem and her powerful CIA-connected friends, Katharine Graham of the Washington Post and Ford Foundation President Franklin Thomas prevented Random House from publishing it in "Feminist Revolution." Nevertheless the story appeared in the "Village Voice" on May 21, 1979.

Betty Friedan: "Mommy" was a Commie

Dr. Henry Makow Ph.D | July 27, 2003

Betty Friedan, the "founder of modern feminism" pretended to be a typical 1950's American mother who had a "revelation" that women like her were exploited and should seek independence and self-fulfillment in career. What Friedan (nee: Betty Naomi Goldstein) didn't say is that she had been a Communist propagandist since her student days at Smith College (1938-1942) and that the destruction of the family has always been central to the Communist plan for world government. See "The Communist Manifesto" (1848).

The CIA and the Cultural Cold War Revisited

James Petras | Monthly Review | November 1999

Frances Stonor Saunders, Who Paid the Piper: The CIA and the Cultural Cold War (London: Granta Books), £20.

This book provides a detailed account of the ways in which the CIA penetrated and influenced a vast array of cultural organizations, through its front groups and via friendly philanthropic organizations like the Ford and Rockefeller Foundations. The author, Frances Stonor Saunders, details how and why the CIA ran cultural congresses, mounted exhibits, and organized concerts. The CIA also published and translated well-known authors who toed the Washington line, sponsored abstract art to counteract art with any social content and, throughout the world, subsidized journals that criticized Marxism, communism, and revolutionary politics and apologized for, or ignored, violent and destructive imperialist U.S. policies.

Congressional Committee to Investigate Tax-Exempt Foundations / Reece Committee

* The following are some comments on the 1958 412-page Foundations: Their Power and Influence by Rene A. Wormser, which was first published by the Devin-Adair Company of New York (Reprinted Covenant House Books, 1993):[1]

"In 1952, Congress commissioned the Cox Committee to investigate U.S. foundations. In 1953 it was the Reece Committee, and the author of this book was its general counsel. Wormser concedes that 'the emphasis on a search for organized Communist penetration of foundations absorbed much of the energy of the investigators and detracted somewhat from the efficacy of their general inquiry into subversion.' (page 177). He is more interested in an emerging elite that has control of gigantic financial resources: 'An unparalleled amount of power is concentrated increasingly in the hands of an interlocking and self-perpetuating group. Unlike the power of corporate management, it is unchecked by stockholders; unlike the power of government, it is unchecked by the people; unlike the power of churches, it is unchecked by any firmly established canons of value.' (page viii)[2]

"Forty years later, it's clear that Wormser's concerns over foundations were not misplaced; they still wield enormous political and cultural power. It's also clear that Congress should have worried more about the U.S. secret state than about Communism. The connections between intelligence elites, and the international programs funded by major foundations such as Carnegie, Ford, and Rockefeller, are quite amazing and deserve their own book."[3]
