Jen Marlowe talks about the life and death of a 17 year old Palestinian who lived in Israel with Israeli citizenship. Aseel Asleh was shot and killed by the Israeli security services while at a peaceful protest. She wrote a play about him and people all over the world will read it together during October.
There is a Field, I'll Meet you There my Friend, Jen Marlowe reads from Aseel Asleh in emotional rendition of his writing referring to the poet Rumi.

www.donkeysaddle.org for information on how to do a reading of the play which will be done simultaneously as part of a global call to action from Jen Marlowe.

October 2000 marked the devastating start of the second intifada, and black October, when 12 Israeli citizens were killed by the Israeli security services. Palestinians, they have unique problems living in the country that is occupying their homeland.
