Ittijah is an umbrella organization of Palestinian non-governmental organizations and community-based organizations (NGOs & CBOs) inside the Green Line. Founded in 1995, Ittijah seeks to professionalize its member organizations, assist with fundraising, increase cooperation and collaboration among Palestinian NGOs and CBOs in its efforts to build a strong civil society among Palestinians living inside the Green Line. Ittijah also has an important public relations function - representing the Palestinian NGO sector inside Israel to local, regional and international bodies. Most recently, Ittijah lead the '48 Palestine delegation to the World Conference against Racism in Durban. Ittijah also works to end political, legal, social, economic and cultural discrimination against Palestinians in Israel. As the Union of Arab Community Based Associations inside the Green Line, Ittijah is seeking volunteers for our members. Ittijah's members range from prominent human rights groups to village-based community organizations.
