John Peel Day on Bristol Community FM - Podcasts
BCfm gave over its entire schedule for Monday 11th October to celebrate the life and times of one of Britains greatest broadcasters. John Peel gave his last radio broadcast on this date back in 2004. Throughout the day Bristol Community FM presenters presented shows that covered every part of John Peels life, looking at his life itself, playing some of the music he championed as well as looking at his life. A life Peel style session was even featured, thanks to the Transpersonals for coming in for that.
