Dr. Alice Rothchild is a Boston based physician, author, activist, and author of Broken Promises, Broken Dreams: Stories of Jewish and Palestinian Trauma and Resilience, (Pluto Press, 2010).

Qanun virtuoso musician Ali Amr is a Palestinian who was born in 1991 in Morocco and moved to Ramallah, Palestine at the age of 6.

Finally, Yemenite Jew and virtuoso musician Shaheen Lavie-Rouse, 21, who currently performs on a Betts 1801 cello lent to him by the New England Conservatory.
