Nov. 15, 2010, 10:40 p.m.
Professor Michael Marrinan of Stanford University's Art History Department recounted some of the most fascinating stories about moving to New York for his graduate studies and then landing in Paris rather randomly which incited his love for the city which continues to this day. What sets apart his stories is his humble endless wisdom armed only with his love and passion for art and the power of art's ability to communicate history throughout the ages.

Professor Marrinan's latest book will be released before the end of 2010: "Review of La Modernité et le métropole : Pour une lecture de l'espace urbain au XIXe siècle, ed. Jelena Jovicic, Nineteenth-Century French Studies, 39, nos. 1-2 (Fall-Winter 2010), pp. 167-171"
