In this stunning episode of This Week In Palestine, we speak with Israeli student and justice activist Matan Cohen at his home in Haifa. Matan has been arrested, gassed, assaulted, and jailed by Israeli police and military over and over and over for joining peaceful rallies against the Apartheid Wall in the course of the last nine years.

At last count: 33 arrests, plus he lost one of his eyes when a rubber bullet was fired into it. We engage in detailed discussion of the vicious, lawless, fascist nature of today's Israeli government, and the scant likelihood of changing it. Besides live bullets, it currently uses so-called "less lethal" CS poison gas, internationally banned, as though it were tear gas, shooting canisters of it straight-on at vigillers' eyes and bodies, resulting in deaths and untold suffering for peaceful demonstrators. And we bear responsibility as Americans: all of that CS poison gas, and much more, comes from American manufacturers and is paid for with American taxpayer funds.
