Dr. Sleiman analyses the ongoing historic protests in Egypt, emphasizing their importance to the region, and the world; the abandoning of fear on the part of the Egyptian people who are determined, above all, to restore not only their dignity but that of Egypt as a leader in the Arab world. Thanks to the new technolgies they have created a "virtual society" which has confounded the Mubarak regime and promises to spread to other regimes being controlled by dictators Dr. Sleiman also examines the Egyptian army, its relations with the US, the possible divisions in the wake of the protests, their potential impact on Egypt's relations with Israel and its ramifications for the Palestinian cause..
