Prof. Bauer discusses the rise of scientism (belief that science will solve all problems), the misconceptions concerning the scientific method, the domination of our current scientific culture by dogma , and the dire effects of these problems on our lives and societies. He also discussed how to move back towards a more open and reality based scientific process.
