Music and clip, Aunt Molly Jackson, one of the most powerful voices to rise up against abusive coal mining practices during the 30s. During an interview with Studs Terkle we found at the Pacifica Archives, Radio From the Vault, she tells a story about stealing food to save babies, and touching the heart of even a sheriff who was supposed to arrest her.

Our heartfelt thanks to those at stations who wrote kind and understanding letters. We are now back on the air, doing some final tweaking to our equipment. We suffered storm damage, and 2010, 2011 have been tough years for us. Three times now we have had electrical problems with lines that have damaged our sound recording equipment. We may have to redo wiring in our home/studio.
