Interview
Trevor Anderson, investigative journalist
 Jeff Blankfort  Contact Contributor
Sept. 14, 2011, 12:18 p.m.
Anderson reports on his yearlong investigation into the FBI’s program to spy on Muslim communities, the results of which can be found in his article, “The Informants,” in the Sept.-Oct. Mother Jones. Anderson discusses the process in which informants, many of whom have been coerced into working for the government to avoid prison or deportation, entrap “potential” terrorists, creating crimes that the FBI can then solve. Aaronson gives examples of important informants and their cases.
