Want to destroy public education? First underfund it. Then turn students over to corporate marketing departments. Then "privatize" the schools. Doing so will increase profits and also produce citizens/workers incapable of critically questioning (let alone fighting back against!) The System.

For details we'll hear from the documentary *Corporations in the Classroom*--on the marketing-in-schools schemes Bus Radio & Channel One TV. Plus CHRIS HEDGES & comedian Fr. GUIDO SADUCCI.
Thanks to Uprising Radio (www.uprisingradio.org) for the Hedges talk, to Unwelcome Guests (www.unwelcomeguests.net) for the audio of *Corporations in the Classroom,* and to Tereza Coraggio (www.thirdparadigm.org) for the Sarducci routine.

"New World Notes" is produced under the auspices (Latin for "average quality") of WWUH-FM, a community service of that beacon of light in darkest Connecticut, the University of Hartford.
