Steal this Hijab is a website based primarily on Islamic Feminism. Feminism in the Arab world is about as old as feminism in the US. The way in which women talk about feminism in the United States may be very different than the way women talk about feminism in Iran. In Iran it is currently illegal to be gay however to be transgender and want a sex change is acceptable and the operation is subsidized by the state.
