My guest is Alain Touwaide. His research deals with the history of botany, particularly the medicinal plants, in the cultures that flourished around the Mediterranean Sea from Antiquity to the 17th century. He will speak about ancient herbal texts and how they relate to herbalism today?
Alain Touwaide is currently employed by the Smithsonian.
