An anti-poverty group in Vancouver issued a challenge for an MLA in the province to live on the equivalent of welfare for a month. Jagrup Brar of the NDP accepted the challenge and began his month on January 1. Bill Hopwood of the Raise the Rates tells us how Brar is faring and what's he found out about life on welfare.
