Reverend John Osmers defends refugee rights in Zambia. In one of those quiet, unfortunate crises that happen in the world, refugees are in danger of being transferred, against their wishes, to the government of Rwanda. In the second half, we hear from a man who is an authority on Rwanda, Dr. Theogene Rudasingwa, a former leader of the Rwandan Patriotic Front who is critical of the efforts by Canada and U.S. for supporting the present government in Kigali.

Co-host Phil Conlon also provides an update on the battle over Rob Ford's austerity policies. It's not just Ford, but other councillors, who seem determined to sabotage the city's valuable services.
