Summary: Julie Holland, board certified psychiatrist specializing in psychopharmacology. Dr. Holland received her medical degree from Temple University School of Medicine where she performed research on auditory hallucinations, extensively interviewing nearly one hundred psychotic patients. As assistant professor of psychiatry at NYU school of Medicine, Julie spent her weekends running psych. emergency room at Bellevue Hospital for NINE years; her book, "Weekends at Bellevue" comes from that experience. She is considered expert on street drugs, has been quoted in Time, Harper's, Slate, the LA times and Wall Street Journal.
