Anti-war activist Sara Flounders notes that the U.S. has threatened to sanction every country in the world that does not agree to sanction Iran: a warlike position reminiscent of the worst of the Bush-era. Phil and Sara investigate the growing arrogance of the U.S. government, which has returned to describing itself as "the indispensable nation."

Next, a success story from Venezuela - a nationwide music training program for children. Phil Conlon attended a performance of these talented musicians. Although the music program predates Chavez, his government expanded the ambit of the program. Conlon suggests that the program takes classical music out of the hands of the elite, and puts it into the hands of ordinary people who can appreciate it.

Finally, Rick Rozoff of Stop NATO comments on the diplomatic maneuvering against Russia and China.
