Carlos Montes is currently facing a 30 prison term after the Obama administration and the FBI had him arrested for a phony felony conviction
after legally purchasing a long gun. The real reason the FBI is trying to take him off the street has to do with his continued organizing for immigrant rights and his out spoken support of the Palestinian People.

See the film "Walkout", a 2006 HBO film based on a true story of the 1968 East L.A. school walkouts of which Carlos Montes was one of the leaders.
