Latest developments in the US Public Health Service's long-term clandestine program of infecting thousands of Guatemalan orphans, troops, prostitutes and in-patients with syphilis, gonorrhea, and other venereal diseases -- for which the Obama administration "apologized," but is now stonewalling reparations and other legal redress.
The program is reminiscent of the notorious Tuskeegee syphilis experiments on black American men for a simple reason: Both programs were the handiwork of the Health Service's late Frankenstein figure, .John Cutler, "M.D."
