For more than 100 days, 200,000 students have been on strike in Quebec. This is the longest student strike in Canadian history. Demonstrations in support of the strike have brought hundreds of thousands of students and their supporters into the streets of Montreal and other cities. Brian Latour is a student, labour and international solidarity activist who is organizing solidarity actions in Manitoba.
