As Americans celebrate this Independence Week, with the Fourth of July, and enactment of the Declaration of Independence, we review the Revolutionary War, and the very concept of "good wars" with the following analysis presented shortly before his death by the author of "A People's History of the United States," the late, great historian, Howard Zinn.

Zinn is heard addressing Cape Codders for Peace and Justice on war, along with a symposium, "Voices of a People's History of the USA," featuring Brian Jones reading a Fourth of July letter by the American abolitionist Frederick Douglass.
