Insurgents have greater pull, holding population hostage, as they’re carrying out a multi-national backed war, US, Israel, France, Saudis, Turkey, etc., to break Iran-Syria-Hezbollah alliance; how it can be expected that Syria, any government, will, respond militarily to armed revolt; speaks of US-Syria past relations; of roles of Sunni Shia, Christians, of problems caused for Turkey by Syrian Kurds new autonomy.
