Is it possible an Eritrean political organization, banned in Canada, is raising funds for their activities right here in the city of Winnipeg under the noses of Canadian Border Services and other agencies? In an interview which aired on Warning Shots August 17, CKUW NEWS Director Michael WElch spoke with two Eritrean-Canadians, Bereket Yohannes and Daniel Awshek about how the Eritrean diaspora continues to finance the regime in spite of UN sanctions embraced by Canada, and what needs to be done to stop these activities in Canada.
