Daina Warren, gallery director at Urban Shaman, discusses the exhibition M:Stories of Women by Shelley Niro. Niro is a visual artist and filmmaker, known for multidisciplinary works that challenge stereotypes of First Nations people. She is a member of the Six Nations Reserve and of Mohawk Nation, Turtle Clan. M:Stories of Women runs until September 29 at Urban Shaman, 290 McDermot Avenue in Winnipeg.
