The recent provincial election in Quebec which saw the defeat of the Liberal goverment and the election of the Parti Quebecois as a minority goverment. There was no shortage of controversy in this election with the student movement and the scandals of the former Liberal goverment. University of Winnipeg politics professor Shannon Sampert explains how the Parti Quebecois won and what this will mean for Canada.
In the later half of the interivew Shannon Sampert talks of the recent by-election in Manitoba which saw the election of provincial PC party leader Brain Pallister.
