David Eby is the outgoing executive director of the BC Civil Liberties Association. He was the final speaker at a forum looking at the challenges facing the new Office of Independent Investigations. His remarks follow a presentation by Richard Rosenthal, Chief Civilian Director of the Office of Independent Investigations in BC; Preston Gonu, a youth worker with the Carrier Sekani First Nation in Prince George and Doug King, a lawyer working to change dog-handling practices by the Vancouver police.
