Being a huge fan of The Coup and the political sting in their lyrics a 15 minute interview with front man Boots Riley was an exciting prospect but also a daunting.

Thereâs so much to talk about in so little time, aside from the new album I really wanted to hear what Boots had to say about things likeâ¦ Pork and Beef, 500 ways to Kill a C.E.O and Fat Cats and Bigga Fishâ¦ among other topics which come up in his music.

The new album Sorry to Bother You is the soundtrack to a movie Bootâs has written about his time working in a call center.

We didnât get to talk about that during the interview though instead we talked about the bandâs tour to Europe, Occupy Oakland and protest tactics.
