Dear "This Way Out" Affiliate Station General Manager, Program Director, Operations Manager, and/or News-Public Affairs-Spoken Word Director:
We've offered our award-winning program each week to the public radio community free of charge for almost 25 years. We've never asked stations to pay for "This Way Out" since its debut in April 1988, and we never will. But a few stations have occasionally contributed to our 501(c)(3) nonprofit volunteer operation, for which we will always be grateful. After so many years on the air, we've virtually exhausted traditional foundation funding possibilities, so we hope *your* station will help us now, too -- and before the end of the year if you can.
=> Especially if your station gets our weekly program for free via www.radio4all.net or www.indymedia.org, please send us a voluntary "Annual Program Acquisition Payment" of $250 - more if your budget allows, or whatever your station can afford. Even $100 will really help! And even if your station indirectly "pays" for "This Way Out" as a Pacifica Radio affiliate, we hope you'll also support us financially if you're able.
We know that fiscal times are tough -- but with so much happening so fast regarding key LGBT issues around the world - such as marriage equality, job rights, hate crimes, and conflicts over LGBT issues within major religious denominations - the need for the kind of news and information that "This Way Out" uniquely delivers has never been more important.
