Thurman describes experience as conscientious objector in Air Force and ways military recruits in high schools, how he came to see war for what it was, did a 180 degree turn, and was assisted in getting his honorable discharge by Courage to Resist and what the group is and how it works. Then he talks about Bradley Manning and potential positive impact of release of testimony showing Manning’s heroism and commitment to justice as a whistleblower. Thurman tells how the Manning campaign is growing worldwide, about his legal team, and how people can get materials to do Manning support work.
