Dr. Sheary Johnson is the President & Founder of Better People Inc. Better People has been working with Southside Richmond families for over two decades, and though they are not well-known in the broader community, they have provided life-changing support for the youth and families they serve. Dr. Johnson shares information about Better People’s programs and how people can get involved. She has been a community change-maker for years, and was the first African-American graduate from James Madison University (then Madison College).
