The New York City mayoral campaign came to the Bronx overnight when seven contenders for the Democratic Party nomination appeared in a forum at the faith-based Monroe College. The forum was convened by the religious interest group, City Action Coalition. Topics included the economy, drugs, policing, education and the relationship between church and state.
The candidates responded sequentially to questions in the following order: BILL deBLASIO, RANDY CREDICO, BILL THOMPSON, ERIC SALGADO, ADOLFO CARRION, SAL ALBANESE and JOHN LIU.
