Episode 23: All Wax On, No Wax Off
You got that right! This week on Unseen Legion Radio, DJ EARL-E dug even deeper than usual into his almost bottomless crates to bless the world with an ALL VINYL episode of ULR. From the very first song rare gems were on deck as he dropped Count Machuki., the man considered to be the first DJ to ever get up and rap on the mic. Roots reggae to start, and hip-hop to follow, with just enough other stuff to keep it fresh and interesting. Big ups to BIN GRIM who provided the music for the breaks, courtesy of his new beat album out on the Zypher Un Label, Kaiju Match Box Volume One. Kaiju is Japanese for, "Giant Monster/Men in Rubber Suits". Now, you know if Grimstrumentals were playing, then YESKI and MC PROSE definitely blessed the mic in a couple of spitters sessions that also featured Bin Grim.
