Micha Peled has produced three connected films that put a human face on complex issues that result from global economic forces. Store Wars: When Wal-Mart Comes to Town focuses on consumerism in the U.S. China Blue investigates the sweatshop labour conditions in the manufacturing of the clothes we buy. The last film in the series is Bitter Seeds, looking at the crisis of the farmers in India who grow the cotton. Micha Peled speaks with Redeye host Jane Williams.
