Part one of a two part musical memorial to the late Guitarist, ethnomusicologist, anarchist, steel guitar innovator and instrumental wizard Bob Brozman who died on April 23rd 2013 Starting with the blues Bob went on to play and perform gypsy jazz, calypso, ragtime, Hawaiian, and Caribbean music. He collaborated with musicians from India, Africa, Japan, Papua New Guinea and Reunion Island. He has been called "A walking archive of 20th Century American music." Brozman maintained a steady schedule throughout the year, touring constantly throughout North America, Europe, Australia, Asia in 2009 and 2010 he was voted best world guitarist and best acoustic slide guitarist in guitar player and acoustic guitar player magazines.
Featuring tracks from his earliest 1981 "Blue Hula Stomp" to his last 2012 "Fire In The Mind" release as well as clips from interview/workshop videos and a live track with The Devil Makes Three.
