Tony Clarke is the Director of the Polaris Institute, Chair of Committee on Corporations for International Forum on Globalization and an organizer of the Public Teach-In on Corporate Rule held in Toronto in November 97.

Meeting held in former council chambers of now defunct City of York, recently
amalgamated into single city of Toronto along with other cities by the provincial government of Ontario against a referendum vote of 76% against amalgamation by the people of the Toronto area.
