I don't do many special podcasts (last one was for Fukushima in March 2011). But this "weather" is the start of a global jump in temperatures, and mainstream media isn't putting the pieces together.

Global warming starts in earnest in this summer of 2013. Maybe that's why my podcast list is growing in summer, when it usually declines a bit?
