(SOAPBOX #56) - Cindy's guest is the very famous Daniel Ellsberg, affectionately remembered for his historical opposition to Richard Nixon and to the war in Vietnam. In today's current and highly disturbing times, his insight offers a brilliant perspective for analyzing current developments. Both Dr. Ellsberg and Cindy share close and personal experience of tragic destructions wrought through U.S. promotion of an imperial war. When he was asked what he thought about Western Civilization, Mohandas K. Gandhi replied "I think it would be a good idea." That is exactly the sense in which requests about their opinions of a War to promote the American Empire would promote an answer of: "A very bad idea!"
