Professor (Emeritus) Atif Kubursi is as excited as the rest of us that our protests, and the diplomacy at the UN, have slowed the drive to war in Syria. It can resume very quickly, but every effort should now be taken to highlight the peaceful options to end the conflict in Syria without further bloodshed.
