The cleanup following Enbridge’s oil spill in Kalamazoo is not complete but remarkable progress has been made. By contrast, nothing has been done to clean up a similar spill in Northern Alberta. Anne Casselman is a science journalist who recently toured the spill site in Kalamazoo. She explains why the two spills in Canada and the US have had such different outcomes.
