Destruction of marine environments is taking place at a much faster rate than scientists previously thought. A third of all fish are caught Illegally, including a quarter of the fish sold in the U.S. Professor Tony J. Pitcher is founding director of the Fisheries Centre at the University of British Columbia. He is one of the contributors to the State of the Oceans Report 2013.
