For tonight, I blew the dust off of BSTF #300, done for New Year's Eve of 2000. Remember that, when the clocks all hit 01/01/00, and our entire technologically dependent civilization was plunged screeching into utter barbarism? Man, that was fucking horrific--I mean, it was awful because it didn't happen. But there sure were a lot of concerned parties drywashing their hands in gleeful anticipation of the fall of Man--which is OUR shtick, dammit, the frickin' pikers! You'll hear some of those crackpots, derange-Os, and loons tonight, seekers--as well as Vincent Price, Tonio K, the Dead Milkmen, Li'l Gruntpack, Lucia Pamela, the Cramps, Don Harrison, and the divine Noel Coward nimbly declaiming his drolly delightful song "Twentieth Century Blues." Will this material be enough to deal with the problem...or will we have to resort to the Improbability Drive? Hell, I don't know! I tried nothing, and now I'm all out of ideas!
(And yeah, I know that's a swiped line from Ned Flanders' dad.)
