His most recent book is "Brokers of Deceit: How the U.S. Has Undermined Peace in the Middle East". Khalidi is the Edward Said Professor of Modern Arab Studies at Columbia University in N.Y.C.
Khalidi draws on his own experience as a Palestinian negotiator and combines history, common sense, and his first hand understanding of Arab-Israeli peace talks, as brokered by Washington,to dissect and unpackage the latest endeavor and discussing the difficult but essential steps needed to achieve peace in the region.
