Pat Thomas wrote Listen Whitey! The Sights and Sounds of Black Power 1965-1975, based on interviews and recordings of speeches, interviews and music. David Murray on the influence of the 1960's and revolutionary ideas on his development as one of the most outstanding jazz musicians today.
