Amélie, alongside "Chavo" and Fallon were arrested and accused of causing 70,000 pesos of damage against a Federal Transportation building and 100,000 pesos of damage against a Nissan dealership with molotov cocktails. In this letter from February 22nd from Santa Martha prison in Mexico, Amélie explains elloquently why she has not backed down from her Anarchism in order to appear contrite before the state and reformists. Also out this week, the case of the Trayvon 2, two young, muslim men of color who were arrested during protests in Oakland in response to the Florida Courts acquittal of George Zimmerman for the murder of Trayvon Martin had their charges dropped from felony to misdemeaner. March 28th in Durham, NC, there'll be a benefit for Luke O'Donovan's defense fund as he attempts to pay lawyers to fight charges that could lead to 100 years in prison for his self-defense as he was being queer-bashed in Atlanta. The attack occurred in the early hours of January 1st, 2013. You can find more info on his case at
