Doug interviews Tom Cooper from the Hamilton Roundtable for Poverty Reduction, Don Wells of the Labour Studies Department at McMaster, and Jeff Wingard Coordinator of the Hamilton Poverty Initiative.
Tom describes the Hamilton Living Wage project in Hamilton and the growth of Living Wage initiatives across North America. The living wage project has developed a consistent living wage definition and calculation methodology. In Hamilton, a living wage is $14.95 an hour.
