Rebecca Glenberg, attorney for the American Civil Liberties Union of Virginia, talks about the law of free speech, public forums, and their concerns that the 30 year lease between the City and the Monroe Park Conservancy does not contain explicit provisions for free speech in the park. And during this week’s News You Can Use, you’ll learn about efforts to prohibit the Justice Department from spending money on Operation Choke Point – a crack down on banks that facilitate illegal activity and payment fraud – and why that money should continue to be spent.
