Montgomery, along with Antonia Zerbisias, an award-winning Canadian journalist, helped start the hashtag, #BeenRapedNeverReported, in response to the victim blaming of women who came forward to tell about being sexually assaulted. Harris is director of, "Through a Lens Darkly: Black Photographers and the Emergence of a People," on the dehumanization of Black people throughout history and the fight against it, captured in a beautiful film about the role of photographers.
